So...

Okay... So before i go over my day here is a Fashion Show Review.... those who are still going to the Rehersal it is Aug 1st 6-7 and GET THERE EARLY. Those going to the real deal it is Aug 2nd 7-8 and you need to have physical tickets to get in which we will find out how i can pass them on to everyone. I actually have extras now so if someone else wants to come i can make it work. you should probaly come a little early for that too if you want good seats and you gotta find a way to get ur tickets. okay to answer a few common questions...
1. How Early? depends on which night... for the rehersal i would come an hr early min. i really am not sure how the scene is and would hate to have someone drive all the way up and not get in. for the Regular show... a half an hour for a good seat and to retrive you tickets.
2. Where do i Park? There is street parking on most of the cross streets up Waterman St near Brown but before Thayer St. there are some meter parking spots around there too. If those are all full because of the show (another reason to arrive early= Parking!) If that is full there is a parking garage on Memorial St on the Right coming from the Mall. Also you can park in the Mall if you want too.
3. Cameras?? Both video and photography cameras are allowed and ENCOURAGED BY ME!
4. Can we meet up afterward or before? I am not sure... because i am on the committe i am thinking i am gonna have a lot of stuff to do but i will check in on like Monday and tell you guys. for the tickets i might have to have you guys quickly drop by and get them or give them to mom or something. but everyone has to understand that if i have to go get some work done that i need to get some work done!!
5. Where is it taking place and how do i get there!?? The show is in the RISD Auditorium. It is on the Corner of Waterman and North Main street near the RISD store and the Design Center. if you parked on a meter up near Brown, find Waterman St and walk pass the RISD Quad (dorms i live in) pass the nature lab (on Benifit st). When you see the white church on your right and the bus and trolley tunnel on your left cross the road and take a left (this is North Main ST). Pass the Mail room, Pass the Design Center, Pass the RISD store and once you get to a brick paved Park like area with benches and right across from a bridge turn right and the auditorium is on your right. If you parked near the mall or on memorial. walk down memorial St until you see the 2nd bridge(waterman St) across the river (where the water fire things are) and take the 1st right after you cross the bridge... this is not an actual street it is a paved walkway. walk a little ways and a gazibo, the river and a bunch of steps would be on your right and the auditorium will be on your left.. it should be hard to miss!

Okay so today.... i got up at like 11:15 Fixed the sewing machine and had breakfast. i drew a bit and fixed my dress so it fit Zoe better but i was basically done with that. I did some fittings for Zoe and helped A BUNCH OF PEOPLE SEW THEIR DRESSES. Like 3 people but still... i am suprized how many fashion majors have never touched a sewing machine in their lives. but i don't mind doing it... i love sewing... it relaxes me! So after a day of work a few people from our dorm and Jen our RA went to Fire and Ice. If someone needs a cool place to eat when you are in providence (there is one in Boston and a bunch of other major cities.) It is like this mangolian stir-fry buffet. You pay a flat 15$ fee and you have unlimited access to every stir fry ingredient imaginable. They have 12 different kinds of Pasta, any vegtable you can think of, pinapple, chicken, shrimp, lots of kinds of fish and crab meat, Tofu, Sirloin and pork. you pick whatever combos you want and then you go to their sause station where you pick from like 30 different (and delicious) sauses (ranging in spiceiness). then you bring your food (it is ALL uncooked still)and your chosen sause up to this big grill thing in the middle of the room and they cook it and put the sause on right in front of you. then you can bring it back to your table and either stir in rice or put it in a fahjita! the cool thing is that you can go back and get more whenever you want for the same set price. After dinner i came home and Me, Abby, and Zoey went to Starbucks and walked through Water Fire a bit ( really crowded) then we went to the movies and saw You me And Dupree which was actually 10xs cuter and funnier than i had expected. then we went back for curfew and now i am just chillin with Karissa. It is SO HOT IN OUR DORM!!! i am gonna die!! okay i am going to bed!! nite
